About Us

We are Kelvin and Mia, a husband and wife team based South of the River in beautiful Perth, Western Australia.

Our journey started in late 2019 after the birth of our daughter Koa. As a new mother on maternity leave, Mia was searching for a creative outlet and so we purchased a Die-Cutting machine.

It wasn’t long before what started as a hobby, became our first small business on Etsy, making personalised onesies and sewing baby bibs from home.

In late 2020 following a successful start on Etsy, we began discussing the addition of a small desktop laser machine to the mix and extending our offering.

This escalated quickly, as things do, and we purchased our first laser machine in February 2021 (a much larger machine than our original plans).

In April 2021, Sunset Laser Co started taking our first orders through Etsy.

And now, July 2021 as our product range continues to expand, we are finally launching our very own website, created by us with the help of our brother Josh (Thanks Josh!).

We thoroughly appreciate the support of our family, friends and every single customer who has made a purchase with us so far!
